TEAM TRISH
Trish Simon is a Firefighter/EMT with the Bartlett Fire Protection District who was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in March. She is the married and the mother of two wonderful boys who are under seven.
"Team Trish" has come together to support Trish and her husband Jeff as she takes on the race of her live to beat this aggressive and life stealing disease. The Team is made up of her friends, family, co-workers and fellow firefighters. They stand united to make sure that the family has the best mechanics (Medical Team), pit crew (Care Providers) and largest fan base (Supporters and Cheering Section) to finish this race in the winners circle.
Trish is an oncology nurse and her and the team knows that this will not be an easy race to run. Nobody knows the odds better than Trish, but with her at the wheel with the crew and fans at the ready, she is ready to hit the many tracks that make the season.
